About BiblioFile OnDemand and TLC
BiblioFile OnDemand is the result of a
partnership between The Library Corporation (TLC) and Amazon.com. Order books
and AV materials from Amazon
-
get MARC records from TLC. You can also order spine and pocket labels. TLC will format them; Amazon will
deliver them with your physical order.
Retrieving your MARC records is easy. Click the download
link in the email notification TLC
sends you seconds after your order's receipt. BiblioFile
OnDemand records come from sources you trust, including Library of Congress and
other national libraries and professional cataloging services. But quality
doesn't mean a high cost. Over the span of 30+ years, TLC has built a
MARC delivery system that offers high quality records at reasonable
prices. And if we don't have a particular MARC record, we can create
one from Amazon-supplied data.
About TLC
TLC is a library automation company founded in 1974 to exclusively serve
libraries. From the start, TLC made advances in cataloging
technology, and was the first to commercially apply CD-ROM. From that
beginning, BiblioFile Cataloging quickly became the world's most popular
desktop cataloging tool. TLC is still owned and operated by its founding
family. From its 50-acre headquarters in Inwood, WV, and from offices
in Denver, CO, and Singapore, TLC serves thousands of
libraries around the globe.
TLC offers a full range of automation solutions for libraries
and schools. These solutions include integrated automation
systems using advanced technologies, cataloging, OPAC concept
mapping, acquisitions, authority control, and RFID, all backed by
a standard-setting support team.
TLC is committed to providing all libraries with the most
advanced technologies possible and an outstanding and unexpected level of
service. BiblioFile OnDemand is just one of the ways TLC supports librarians
and enhances the patron's library experience.
